Band: Flaming June
Venue: The Hunter Club

Date24/04/13
Audience: Mostly quite young, supportive
Set: Psycho, Stop The Ride, Rumplestiltskin, Rejoice, Heal Me Believe Me, Little Love In A Cruel World, Song For The Broken Hearted, Sweetness Weakness, Nerves Of Steel, I Know What It's Like, Wednesday's And Weekends
Notes: Our EP launch for 'Rumplestiltskin' - a release which has been received warmly by the critics and played everywhere including BBC 6 Music, at the very nice - if very difficult to find, Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds. Not sure if it's something to do with the area or venue, but the audience were very young indeed - making me feel quite old, but there was positive vibe in the room. It's always difficult when you headline ahead of such an outstanding support act - The Folk were incredible - but we belted out a full-throttle, manic Flaming June set. Really enjoyed that gig - I needed a gig like that to let off steam after a difficult day, it was a sweaty workout of a performance.
